Dr. Lakshmi Andiappan has sequenced a basic series of 34 asanas combined with breathing techniques and relaxation methods and if done systematically it can help balance the tridhosa (Vatha, Pitha Kapha) in our body that helps address various known and unknown ailments in our body.

With over five decades of yoga teaching experience and rigorous research, our methods of applying Yoga as Therapy for various ailments are not only preventive but also curative.Yoga Therapy Classes are conducted with individual attention. Kids Yoga

Yoga Classes for Students / Kids (upto 13yrs old)The earlier one starts yoga the better it is to improve general health and flexibility. Kids can start practicing yoga from the age of 4.Yoga promotes physical strength because kids learn to use all of their muscles in new ways. Simple postures and concentration techniques are taught in this class that helps develop strength, agility and coordination.

It also helps children to focus and concentrate in school and get better grades.If kids start practicing yoga from young age they can improve their immunity, and prevent seasonal illnesses such as common cold, flu,allergic symptoms and hereditary diseases such as obesity, blood pressure, diabetes etc.It has been found to be particularly so for kids with special needs.

Studies have shown that yoga benefits children with autism and ADHD. It also provides tools for practicing compassion, mindfulness, generosity, focus, strength, and flexibility.Yoga is something children can practice anywhere without the need of any tools or enquipments, so it is the best family activity if the parents also learn yoga.

Pregnancy Yoga

Prenatal Yoga is such a healthy practice to adopt during pregnancy. It is designed to support the changes that happen to woman while pregnant by offering them safe ways to stretch their muscles and strengthen their bodies. Deep, mindful breathing can help the body loosen and relax, and help women through labour. Even just going to a prenatal yoga class once each week is a gentle reminder to take the time out of a busy work and home life to care for and bond with your growing baby. I know that we all want healthy pregnancies and yoga helps us have just that.
